I’m Jessica Coupé: writer, poet, illustrator, and family historian. I’m the author of over 50 books for the children’s educational market, where I combine clear, engaging information with thoughtful research to spark curiosity and wonder in young readers.

When I’m not working on a commissioned book project, I create devotional poetry, faith-filled short stories, and digital art rooted in history and hope. Whether I’m scripting a spoken word piece, painting a quiet moment in watercolor, or tracing the footsteps of an ancestor, I’m always seeking meaning in the past and beauty in the everyday.

I’m a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and a lifelong lover of learning, language, and light.
